Mike works with businesses across the North East of England, helping management teams to realise their ambitions for growth.
Since joining LDC in February 2020, Mike has helped complete LDC’s investments in Connect Health and the merger of Linley & Simpson with Lomond Capital, as well as leading on Connect’s acquisition of InHealth’s Pain Management Solutions. He is currently Non-Executive Director at Connect Health and Express Engineering.
Mike began his career at Deloitte and spent over ten years working in corporate finance with a focus on private equity transactions. During his time there, he advised on a number of transactions across a variety of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, support services and FMCG.
After leaving Deloitte, Mike set up his own consulting practice providing a wide range of services to various clients. This has included traditional M&A, extending clients’ ranges of products and services as well as providing interim CFO / FD support and assistance in the implementation of new business processes and systems.
Mike has also been the Commercial Director of Cambridge Scholars Publishing (provider of post-graduate research), Group Corporate Development Director of Quantum Pharma plc (pharmaceutical manufacturer) and most recently non-exec director of Ridge Pharma Ltd (branded generics provider).
