Lee lives and works in Scotland and is well-connected in the Scottish business community. He’s proud to support ambitious management teams to drive forward their growth plans.
Since joining LDC in 2018, Lee has led private equity partnerships with Kick ICT and Scarlettabbott, and is on the board of both businesses. He also played a crucial role in investments in Commsworld, Elovate, and Global Autocare.
Lee is part of LDC’s ICT sector team – helping management teams to take advantage of the growth opportunities afforded by digital transformation, the demand for greater connectivity and AI. He also has more than 20 years’ experience in sectors as diverse as healthcare, professional services, energy and the built environment.
Lee began his career at global architecture and design network RMJM, before moving to the Miller Group in 2000 and qualifying as a chartered accountant in the commercial real estate team. He then joined RBS in 2005 and held a number of roles – including Finance Director for their employment law and health & safety consultancy and a secondment to a specialist asset finance division in Stockholm – before heading up the structured finance team in Aberdeen. It was at RBS, where he worked with LDC on their investment in Duncan & Todd Group.
When not working closely with management teams, Lee runs after his two sons – and runs marathons when he needs a break!
