Shona is a senior member of the LDC Legal and Risk Team.
Shona has been working with LDC both as an external lawyer and as a consultant since 2010 and joined the team in 2021. Her responsibilities include risk management and working with the investment and portfolio teams on prospective investments, portfolio management and exits. She is also a member of the LDC Environmental, Social and Governance team.
Prior to joining LDC, Shona founded and ran her own law firm for eight years acting for founders and start-ups with an environmental focus as well as providing general counsel and transactional advice to larger corporate clients and private equity firms. She started her career at Ashurst in 2000 where she advised corporates, private equity firms and financial institutions in cross border public and private M&A for 10 years before a stint at Osborne Clarke.
Shona studied at Pembroke College and has an MA in Law from Cambridge University.
