Alex oversees LDC’s tax function, working with the investment and portfolio teams on prospective investments, tax considerations relevant to portfolio companies and exit transactions.
Before joining LDC, Alex was lead tax counsel at the central bank of Norway, which manages Norway’s Government Pension Fund Global, invested in 9,000+ companies around the world. Prior to that Alex was part of the tax team at law firm Latham & Watkins, advising private equity funds, corporates, sovereign investors and financial institutions.
Alex trained as a lawyer at Hogan Lovells, is a graduate of the law school at Nottingham Trent University and holds a BA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
