This is an exciting point in the business’ journey for our employees and customers alike. Bringing on board an experienced investment partner like LDC provides a springboard for further growth and investment.”
Colin McCarthy, Managing Director
Panther Logistics

“We were impressed by the team’s understanding of our business, LDC’s track record in the sector and their commitment to helping us achieve our long-term ambitions.”

Partnering for growth

In 2016, we backed a £17m management buyout of the business.

As part of the partnership, we took a significant minority shareholding in the firm, enabling its founder to retire. Following our support, Panther continued to invest in its operations and develop new service innovations to support its customers.

Later the same year, Panther picked up Large Company of the Year and the Innovation Award at the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards.

In 2018, the business announced a record turnover of £65m, a figure that has more than doubled since 2010, and we continue to support the management team on their growth journey.
