LDC-backed technology businesses win best-performing awards at Megabuyte100 Awards

LDC-backed Omniplex Learning and FSP have been recognised in the Megabuyte50 top mid-market technology businesses awards, with both companies being awarded best-performing accolades in their respective categories.
The Megabuyte100 Awards, held last night in London, were split into the Emerging Stars, which named the top 50 technology scale-ups in the UK, and the Megabuyte50, which named the top mid-market technology companies.
FSP, an award-winning provider of digital transformation services to large enterprises and public sector organisations, was ranked 7th in the Megabuyte50 and awarded Best-Performing Company – IT Consulting. The judges noted that FSP is one of the very few companies under Megabuyte’s coverage to have achieved the title of multiple-time Megabuyte50 peer group top performer, scooping the award for the second time in a row, and the third including its prior success as an Emerging Star. This reflects its success in blending strong organic growth with strategic M&A, broadening and deepening its technical capability aligned with client demand.
Omniplex Learning, which empowers organisations worldwide to design, create and deliver effective and engaging digital learning, was ranked 22nd in the Megabuyte50 and awarded Best-Performing Company – Value-Added Resellers. The judges said Omniplex Learning’s consistently strong performances result from its expansion in capabilities to the provision of e-learning / training services and tools built and delivered on its own IP and platform.
LDC is a platinum sponsor of the Emerging Stars for the second year running. Individual awards on the night included the Best-Performing Investor-Backed Company award, won by AI-powered legal document analysis software company Luminance. Chris Baker, Partner at LDC presented the award and said:

In addition, two former LDC portfolio companies were also recognised in the Megabuyte50. iamproperty, a leading provider of technology to estate agents, was ranked 6th and won Best-Performing Company – Business & Consumer, and Everway (formerly Texthelp), an international education and corporate software provider, was ranked 33rd.
Megabuyte is the UK’s leading source of independent data and insights on technology and technology-enabled businesses. The Megabuyte100 Awards use the platform’s proprietary scoring system to rank businesses against a set of key criteria, including size, growth, cash flow and margins.
In the last decade, LDC has invested over £1.7bn in 75 technology, ICT and media businesses from right across the UK. On average, businesses in these sectors exited during the same period increased their enterprise value by 255%.
