ATG Access is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of high security vehicle barrier systems, with products being used the world over, from Blackpool to Beijing.
These systems are now designed into all new major infrastructure projects, such as airports, stadia, railway stations, office developments and shopping centres, and are used to secure buildings and venues from vehicular impact and terrorist attacks.
International ambition
In February 2013, the management team at ATG Access accelerated its plans to target UK and international growth after securing a significant minority investment from LDC. Our investment and support helped the team to achieve its international growth strategy.
Innovative developments
During its partnership with LDC, the management team also invested heavily in innovative new product development. This included launching Surface Guard, a lightweight hostile vehicle mitigation barrier for use in the temporary event security market.
Surface Guard has already been commissioned more than 250 times, including at high-profile events such as the London Marathon, Proms in the Park at Hyde Park and the Blackpool Illuminations switch-on.
