A growth partnership
LDC made a minority investment in Sedex in 2023, working in partnership with its management team to support their organic growth strategy and drive sustainability in supply chains globally.
LDC partnered with the existing management team, led by CEO Jon Hancock, to help the team further invest in developing Sedex’s platform, tools and professional services, leveraging the power of data and technology for its members’ benefit and fuelling its international expansion plans.

ESG Journey
Sedex is also establishing a Special Purpose Trust to maintain the company’s founding purpose and stated mission, to make global supply chains more socially and environmentally sustainable.
Sedex also welcomed Peel Ports Group into its network. Peel Ports is the first port operator to join Sedex and the move will enable the business to work together with suppliers to better manage its social and environmental performance, whilst protecting people working in its supply chain.
