Simon Peacock

Simon works closely with management teams across the East Midlands and Central England looking to grow their businesses and is responsible for identifying ambitious teams that would benefit from the support of a private equity partner. 

Simon brings over 25 years’ experience as a finance professional to LDC and has advised on a number of investments in the consumer & leisure, business services and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Prior to LDC, Simon was with the global mid-market investment bank Alantra (previously Catalyst in the UK), jointly heading up its Midlands team in Birmingham, where he was a Partner.

A Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Cambridge, Simon started his career in the fmcg industry within financial management. There he supported a number of UK and cross-border M&A deals for a £2bn revenue PE-backed corporate company. He qualified within industry as a Chartered Management Accountant and also holds the ICAEW Corporate Finance qualification.
