Amit focuses on identifying backable healthcare businesses and management teams who can benefit from private equity investment to support transformational growth plans.
Amit joined LDC in 2025 after spending over ten years successfully investing in middle market healthcare business in the UK and US, including NHS outsourcing, technology-enabled care and home mobility adaptations.
Prior to investing, Amit worked for five years as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company across Europe and the USA, supporting industry leading companies solve complex problems across multiple industries. Amit started his career in the NHS and practiced as an orthopaedic surgeon.
Amit holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School with 1st Class Honours.
