Software Solution Partners (SSP) provides innovative software solutions for insurance brokers, insurers and financial advisors.
The business operates in more than 50 countries across the UK, continental Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and USA. It serves over 1,000 insurance brokers as well as over 160 insurers, including 20 of the world’s largest insurers.
A long-standing relationship
In March 2015, LDC backed the £207m management buyout of SSP.
This was LDC’s second investment in the business, having first invested £11.3m in 2004 and exited in 2006 when the business floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
Backing an ambitious development strategy
From 2015, LDC has supported the management team in its aims to accelerate the growth of SSP in the UK and internationally.
The company is building on its strong broker customer base and has introduced intelligent data services, including telematics and fraud detection, to help insurers better assess risks.
