Published annually and selected by a judging panel of industry experts, the Real Deals Future 40 list highlights the top 40 mid-market private equity investment professionals who have achieved commendable exits in 2020.
Yann is recognised for leading his team to deliver successful exits from Texthelp, Babble and CIPHR last year. After providing £9m to support six acquisitions in three years, LDC partially exited Babble, a leading provider of cloud-based communications technology, in a deal which valued the business at £90m. Yann’s team also exited CIPHR, a cloud-based software provider, and Texthelp, a global provider of literacy and numeracy assistive technologies to the education and corporate sectors, following periods of significant growth.
Dan, who was promoted to Head of Yorkshire in 2020 having joined LDC in 2015, is recognised for delivering LDC’s successful exit from architectural software business NBS. LDC sold its share in the business to Byggfakta Group in 2020 after investing £31.8m in 2018 to support the management team to drive new product development and expand internationally.
