LDC’s investment in UniHomes recognised at South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards

LDC took home Deal of the Year (£10m+) at Insider’s South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards 2024 for its investment in market-leading student accommodation advertising platform UniHomes.

The awards, which celebrate the achievements and contributions of the South Yorkshire dealmaking community, were held last night in UniHomes’ home city of Sheffield.

The judges described the transaction as a “Yorkshire success story”, led by Sheffield-based business owners, and with the critical input of South Yorkshire advisers.

Operating in 41 locations across the UK, UniHomes helps students to find their perfect university ‘home from home’ by connecting them with thousands of student properties offering all-inclusive living. LDC is helping its co-founders Phil Greaves, Bradley Cox and Luca Mori to accelerate their regional growth ambitions and further develop the platform and services for customers.

At the end of last year, UniHomes’ employee feedback earned the business its Great Place to Work^® certification, reaffirming its commitment to creating an inclusive, vibrant workplace culture that supports the needs of its team.
