LDC sponsors Megabuyte Emerging Stars Awards to celebrate growing UK tech businesses

LDC is proud to be a platinum sponsor of the Emerging Stars at the Megabuyte100 Awards 2024 to celebrate the best-performing growing technology businesses in the UK.
Megabuyte is the UK’s leading source of independent data and insights on technology and technology-enabled businesses. The Megabuyte100 Awards, now in their eighth year, use the platform’s proprietary scoring system to rank the sector’s mid-market and scale-up companies against a set of key criteria, including size, growth, cash flow and margins.
The awards are split into the Emerging Stars, which ranks the 50 top technology scale-ups, and the Megabuyte50, which ranks the top private and publicly owned mid-market technology companies. Businesses included in both rankings are shortlisted in a series of individual categories at Megabuyte100 Awards ceremony, which will be held on 14th March 2024 in London.
LDC is also sponsoring a series of Megabuyte-hosted events in 2024, which sit alongside the platform’s awards programme and give industry leaders the opportunity to discuss the big issues facing UK technology businesses.

Additional current and previous portfolio companies listed over the years include Texthelp, James & James, Ensek and Commsworld.
Since 2012, LDC has supported 86 technology, ICT and media businesses from right across the UK with over £1.8bn of investment. On average, businesses in these sectors exited during the same period have increased their enterprise value by 272% and generated 3.3x money multiple.
