Global online learning solutions provider Omniplex Learning, which empowers organisations to design, create and deliver effective and engaging digital learning, has acquired the business of IT and digital transformation training specialist Good e-learning with the support of LDC.
Omniplex Learning secured development capital investment from leading mid-market private equity investor LDC in December 2020 to support its growth strategy and enable the management team to further consolidate its market-leading position through organic opportunities and complementary acquisitions. The deal with Good e-Learning is the second transaction made by the group since LDC’s investment and follows a transaction in 2022 to acquire SaaS digital adoption specialist Nickelled, which now operates as Omniplex Guide. Omniplex Learning has recorded 40%+ compound annual growth rate in revenues over the past three years.
Good e-Learning provides IT and digital transformation accredited training for public sector organisations and large corporate organisations. The business offers an extensive range of online and classroom-based training packages designed to upskill people in the key areas of IT, DevOps, Project Management and Business Transformation. Learners can gain from the 80 industry-recognised certifications developed in collaboration with leading experts, including qualifications such as PRINCE2®, ITIL®, Agile PgM® and TOGAF®.
The transaction adds specialist digital learning solutions to Omniplex Learning’s product suite, which includes award-winning authoring tools Articulate 360, Vyond and market-leading Learning Management Software, Docebo, supporting more than 3,000 customer internationally. As part of the transaction, all staff from Good e-Learning will join the team at Omniplex Learning.
Patrick Jocelyn, CEO of Omniplex Learning, said: “Our clients and learners have been asking about specialist training in these core areas of IT, DevOps, Project Management and Business Transformation, which are critical to so many learners to support their personal growth and gain qualifications that employers value. Good e-Learning’s fully accredited training courses further enrich and complement our portfolio of online learning and development solutions and the acquisition represents another important investment in our ongoing commitment to being a complete learning solution provider.”
