LDC portfolio company Hybrid has been named Growing Business of the Year (£25m-£50m) at the Growing Business Awards.
The Growing Business Awards have been celebrating the UK’s most outstanding entrepreneurs and high-growth businesses for more than 25 years.
Hybrid is a global higher education-focused digital agency, bringing innovation-led thinking and insightful data to strategy and marketing. This combination has cemented Bristol-based Hybrid as a sector leader with significant market share. With 15 years of experience, Hybrid has a broad portfolio of contracts with global education partners, including leading higher education institutions like University of California, Berkeley; University of East Anglian; and Australian National University.
Backed by LDC since June 2021, its management team has pursued an ambitious domestic and international growth strategy that has seen it extend its global reach, secure new multimillion pound contracts and make strategic acquisitions. These include Prompt Marketing, a higher education social marketing agency, and Crisp Digital, a digital development firm, which together have broadened the business’s reach in the education sector and enhanced its AI capabilities.
Its win at the Growing Business Awards follows its recognition at the BVCA 2024 Vision awards for its transformational growth and commitment to innovation and ESG.
Also recognised at the Growing Business Awards was Luke Consiglio, Managing Director of catering company The Pantry, who was named Entrepreneur of the Year – Medium or Large Business. Luke was the overall winner of the LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders in 2023 in recognition of his commercial success, along with his commitment to helping children eat well and understand the power of healthy foods.
LDC extends its congratulations to all the companies and individuals that won awards or were shortlisted at the Growing Business Awards 2024. You can view the full list of winners here.
